BREBEUF COLLEGE SCHOOL

Alexander Budrevics and Associates Ltd. (ABAL) was retained by the Toronto Catholic District School Board to prepare the detailed design drawings for the overall renewal of the landscape site at Brebeuf College located in Toronto, Ontario. Phase 1, consisting of an outdoor classroom space and a section of parking lot which had been identified to be experiencing icing issues were selected for immediate implementation.

The solution proposed for the parking lot icing was to augment existing insufficient drainage infrastructure by constructing a new bio-swale along the down-hill side of the parking lot, in order better manage stormwater runoff, as well as provide educational opportunities about green infrastructure.

Services provided by ABAL included full conceptual and detailed design, preparation of tender package and contract administration. Our work continues now with Phase 2 proceeding to construction in 2024.
